January 25, 2013, New York, NY – NOWhere Limited Contemporary Art – Last night in the Chelsea art district of NYC, Junkmail², a unique one night exhibit by artist Elisha Sarti was the second show featured at NOWhere Limited’s latest project: All Roads.

From the press release:
Elisha Sarti is a painter who works with acrylics, collage, found objects and colored pencil on a variety of substrates. Her imagery references advertisements, product packaging and pictures collected from the Internet. Her work’s textures often mimic nature’s deteriorating effects on machine-made items. For the ongoing series Junkmail², Sarti paints visual odes to disposable mass media like discarded menus, tabloid magazines and dish detergent labels on handmade paper discs she fabricates from reconstituted junkmail. In addition to working as a visual artist, Sarti is a co-director of NOWhere Limited Contemporary Art.


NOWhere Limited’s All Roads Project is a new experiment in alternative exhibition space.
