Above is a close up of a painting I’m working on right now. It’s mixed media (acrylic paint and paper pulp so far) on wood panel.
I like to work on the floor as well as at the easel and tables, especially when the piece is on a panel instead of a canvas.
There will probably be some more numbers added in soon and much more experimenting with the paper pulp texture. Stay tuned!

Here’s what I’m working on now. It’s a wood panel, 40 inches x 16.5 inches. You can see the light sketch I’ve drawn in, using an (unpublished) collage I made on a small piece of packaging tape as my reference. There’s no title yet but I’m thinking of it as “Who 64” so far.
